The Short Version

Leodis Digital is a web design, web development, and SEO agency based in Leeds. We build high-performance websites and search strategies for local businesses and charities across West Yorkshire and beyond.

The Founder

Leodis Digital was founded by Karl Coulter in March 2026. Karl has worked with computers since the age of 11 — building and configuring hardware, then moving into web development as a teenager, creating websites for local bands by the age of 14.

Before starting Leodis Digital, Karl worked on web projects for major organisations including the Woodland Trust, where he was the project lead and web designer for the overhaul of their recruitment system, as well as the Carbon Trust and Atkins Global, handling web-facing aspects of enterprise-scale projects.

After being made redundant in early 2026, Karl made a deliberate choice: rather than returning to enterprise consulting, he wanted to apply that same technical rigour to help smaller businesses and charities build a genuine online presence — the kind of businesses that are often underserved by agencies selling templated WordPress sites and vague SEO promises.

Technology

We build with Vite, Preact, and Astro for websites, deploy to Cloudflare's global edge network, and use GitHub Actions for CI/CD. SEO intelligence is powered by Google Search Console, DataForSEO, and our proprietary RankLift platform. Every site ships with structured data (JSON-LD), automated image optimisation, and pre-rendered HTML for instant load times and perfect crawlability.
